Here at Oxford Street Laundry we do our best to check pockets before they go in the wash and return any items found to their owners.
Unfortunately, we may not catch everything and can't take responsibility for any lost/damaged items so please check ahead!
SOCKS:
Try to make sure they are not -folded -bunched -inside out -hiding in pant legs, if you can, or else they may end up not washed/dried correctly.
We process and pair ALL socks (and laundry) to the best of our abilities.
SHOES:
NO SHOES allowed in any machines, please!

PLEASE CHECK YOUR LAUNDRY
before using our machines and online booking services. We all want a safe and clean environment for washing our laundry and to be fair to our laundry community.
We have the right to refuse/cancel orders that violate this policy.
Please follow these guidelines for what is considered heavily soiled.
WE DO NOT ALLOW:
-Blood/urine/feces
-Excessive amounts of pet hair (MUST remove prior to wash/booking)
-Bugs/pests of ANY kind
-Medication/ointments/creams/etc
-Drugs/other substances
-Leaves/foliage/dirt
-Excessive amounts of food/paper (MUST remove prior to wash/booking)
-Hazardous chemicals/lighter fluid/alcohol/other not relevant for washing laundry
-Anything else that does not belong in any machine or handled by personnel that may potentially cause damage/harm to our employees and machines
Any laundry submitted for service may be subject to our hazard fees if they are found to be considered heavily soiled, but customers will be notified prior to being charged for the chance to cancel their order/discuss our options.

All of our machines are very new and kept to high standards of condition and cleanliness. Please respect our machines, and each other, by following these simple guidelines so we can all enjoy them this way for years to come!
SIMPLE GUIDELINES:
+Keep Washer Doors OPEN when not in use, so they can dry and show availability
+Keep Dryer Doors CLOSED at all times to avoid injury to others/damage to machines
+Remove clothes promptly when they are done. Anything left longer than 15 minutes will be placed in a basket by the entrance table. This will free up the machine for others to use and help keep your clothes and our washers in better condition.
+LIQUID SOAP ONLY allowed in top/tray.
PODS, POWDERS, BEADS / OTHER put in the drum of the washer machines. Powders/PODS/beads do NOT dissolve fast enough in top/tray and will clog the machine and cause issues with your laundry.
+BE GENTLE with machine doors.
DO NOT slam any of the doors, it is not needed and causes damage!
